Grab it by Your Hands

"Grab it by Your Hands" is something Holland, the leader of Gekkostate in the wonderful anime Eureka Seven says all of the time. At the time, I always thought it came from that whole "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" cannard liberals and conservatives bandy out at the dorp of a hat when the working class asks for something like a living wage or single payer healthcare. To be honest, I still think it's evoking the whole bootstrap thing.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT

I'm choosing to look at the phrase differently now. With the deluge of AI shit and the AI evangelists, I decided to do some things myself. Within the past six months, I've gotten a NAS to put the movies and tv shows I've accumnulated over my life onto. Soon I'll be putting music on there as well so I can stream that from anywhere and move away from Apple Music. I've started drawing again, too. I was doing stuff on a physicaly sketchpad, but because it was cumbersome carrying everything I needed everywhere, I decided to go digital. I should upload some of my art here.

I've also switched to Linux. Well, I'm actually dual booting, which fits my needs better although I don't boot up Windows as much anymore. And I started up this site which I am definitely going to update sproradically. I prefer something like this much more than Tumblr or Twitter (no one should call it X)
